June, the busy month – Giugno, il mese indaffarato

The gallery was not found!

In June I filled my schedule with market events, on 12th Gomma Festival in Milano , on 19th Festival dell’ Handmade at Ex Arsenale di Verona, on 26th East Market Milano. I felt really thankful of all those organisations because I met many people interested in my works, and I noticed much more interest in general on the art of illustration here. At Gomma Festival I met an Art Book Creator Nina Masina who publishes her handmade art books as red book boots ( www.ninamasina.it) . Her drawings tells poetic aspects and beauty of the stories she makes and I’, happy that we are now friends. At Verona Festival dell’ Handmade, it was bad weather with rain, although so many people visited the market. It was the first time I participated the market event outside of Milan, but I was so happy that I saw many people in love with my illustration and letter papers and so on. At East Market Milano, I was afraid that I wouldn’t have found such many people because of summer weekend, but there were many people there as always (may be less a bit), and I met new people enthusiast about illustrations! I also have fixed a personal exhibition that will be held in December in Reggio Emilia, and I went to the gallery to take hoots of the space and discuss about our concepts. Such a busy month and I needed some days to awake from the pause, but that was active and meaningful period.
